Todays random thoughts~

I went running this morning.  It was beautiful.  I hurt my leg about 2 months ago and this was the first official run after my injury.  I love to breath the cool fresh air.  I have taken my health for granted.  It was so so good to move again, granted I am slow and out of shape.  But I ran.  What a blessing to breath and think and move.
Chad took Alex to a Jazz game this week  The Jazz won in overtime and Chad  caught Alex a small jazz ball.  Alex was thrilled and will always remember his first Jazz game with his dad.
Chad bought himself and the kids ski passes this year.  The snow has not been great, but Chad and the two older kids have shared a good ski season together.  Isn't that what life is all about, being together?  He is such a great dad.  They both love to ski and it is all because of him.
They dragged me out night skiing with them this last week, and I have to admit I had a great time.  It was kind of magical.  The kids showed me tricks and jumps while they giggled and teased each other.  Chad glowed with pride at what good little skiers they are.  I think he enjoyed that I went skiing with them. We drove down the canyon and talked and laughed.  It was such precious time together.
Sami has been really busy with Girls Scouts.  She got to go to the State Capitol and watch a "rally."  She had  a program where she earned a million new badges.  And last but not least, her and I got to work at a cookie booth at Smiths on Saturday for a couple of hours.  They sold a ton of cookies.  I am pleased to see her be polite and confident and such a good little leader.
Zach is loving pre-school and keeping me busy!  We still are watching him and trying to decided what is our next step to help strengthen his legs.  The Dr.s have no idea how to help or what to do.  Sometimes I get real sad about it, but he is alive and thriving, so in actuality I have a TON to be thankful for.
I played Bunco last night and laughed so hard I cried.  I came home all refreshed and charged up for a few more weeks.
Life is busy and good.  Sometimes I feel like I need to slow down... take a deep breath and breathe in all that I have....

My kids played with my camera and got finger prints all over the lens..that is why the last couple shots are blurry!

Chad is "thrilled" to have a quick picture as they are leaving to go to the Jazz game!
